  • This tour starts at northern part of Tian'anmen Square. Seeing the Tian’anmen Rostrum, it is the symbol of new China. You could see two pairs of 600 years old stone lions, the ornamental columns, the outer golden water bridge and so on. Besides, you will have chance to view all constructions from distance.

  • From there you will proceed to the Forbidden City, the largest and best-preserved ancient 500 year old imperial palaces group. Visit the Forbidden City along the central axis from south to north.

  • On the way to Temple of Heaven, you will have a chance to visit the Chinese traditional medicine culture. After having a short rest, we'll arrive the Temple of Heaven, the largest ancient imperial worship architecture group in the world where the ancient Emperors prayed for peace and harvest.

  • After Chinese lunch in a local restaurant, enjoy a short visit to a pearl free market. And then you will go to the Summer Palace which is the largest and most beautiful Chinese imperial garden. It is regarded as a museum of gardens in China.

  • Heading to the Ming Tombs complex, the incredible complex of Ming Tombs includes a 4 mile (7 kilometer) road named the "Spirit Way" lined with statues of guardian animals that leads to the entrance. The Ding Mausoleum is one of 13 emperor tombs, where excavation has unearthed important objects for the study of the history of the Ming Dynasty. 

  • Then, you will take a visit to the Jade Carving Factory to see jade carved into various shapes, a unique Chinese craft. The jade carving is very famous special local product, it was not only the excellent skill on carving, but also mixes many Chinese traditional cultures in the jade carving.

  • Lunch at a local restaurant,

  • After lunch you will be driven to the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall, one of the best preserved areas of the Great Wall. The Great Wall rides on the ridge of the Yan Mountain and is enshrouded by a green forest. Hiking up the Great Wall is a challenging climb. Alternatively you can ride the available cable car (at your own expense) to reach the top of this ancient defense project.

The Terracotta Warriors and Horses are one of the most significant archaeological excavations of the 20th century when they were discovered by local farmers in 1974. The clay army was built as a form of funerary art and was buried with Qin Shi Huang, the first Emperor of China, in the third century as a mean to protect the emperor in his afterlife.


  • After visiting the Terracotta Warriors you're free to explore the rest of the museum, which houses other artifacts and showcases films on the mausoleum’s history.



  • In the afternoon, continue sightseeing by visiting the best Old City sites in Xi’an. Be whisked away to the ancient city wall, one of the oldest and best preserved in all of China. You can marvel at the 9-mile (14-kilometer) long wall or rent a bicycle and bike from one watchtower to the next. First built in the 2nd century BC, this wall is the most complete city wall that has survived throughout all of China, and is one of the largest ancient military defense systems in the world.


  • then the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Built in AD 652 during the Tang Dynasty as a holy place for Buddhists, the pagoda remains an iconic symbol of old Xi’an and houses Buddhist relics and figurines brought from India.

The cruise will pass by Xingping Old Town at 1:00pm and reach Yangshuo Pier at 1:30pm. Yangshuo is a historical Chinese town of over 1,000 years with Western influences.

  • There will be a 10-minute stop en route for a break and gas.

  • 11:00am–12:00pm Arrive in Huangluo Yao Village, with houses that are built by the river and mountain to bring fortune and happiness. There are some 120 adult females living in the village, 80 of whom have hair of over 1.4 meters. Just watch how they wash, brush, braid and coil it up in a uniquely beautiful style. 


  • 1:00pm Local people stuff the bamboo tubes with raw rice which are simmered in slow fire. This gives the rice time to absorb the bamboo fragrance and ingredients.The tour guide will explain how it's made while you enjoy it for lunch - finding out that bamboo isn't just for pandas. 


  • 1:30pm It's off to Ping’an Village to admire the stunning views of the rice terrace as your driver takes you up the mountain for about 30 minutes. Sightseeing from here will require a little walking and climbing. If you’re not up to it physically, hire a sedan chair hoisted by the locals. 


  • 3:00pm Trekking on Longji Rice Terrace. Rome wasn’t built in one day and neither were the rice terraces in Longsheng. The construction of Longji Rice Terraces started about 800 years ago during the Yuan Dynasty when the minority Yao people fled to the mountainous area away from war. They excavated long planting ranges for rice and turned the mountains into fertile fields with the stair-like mountain slopes working as a convenient and water storage and irrigation system.


  • 4:30pm After the tour, you will be on the road back to Guilin. Kick back for a 2-hour drive in the back seat before being dropped off back in Guilin to end this pleasant tour.
